The 2020 pandemic hit the earth and how did it affect relationships doing the last twelve months? Let us think about all the incompatibility that was felt saying and some never heard of. There is a saying that says distance makes a relationship grow stronger if that is true what has happened to the relationships during the pandemic. Odyssey agrees that distance helps relationships. Couples would not be at home with each other daily but working, in school, on errands that normally they would do daily or whatever their normal routine would have been before the pandemic. Even my relationship saw changes take place so what did we do, we had to reevaluate, realign, and make changes as we went along to ensure everyone in the household was taken care of. No, it was not easy as it may sound but we manage it with love and support from one another. Every Friday night we would have date night on the phone and sometimes zoom with other couples to keep the fire burning in our relationship and learn other techniques for family time with our children. We had to get creative and that is what we all had and must do doing this time of a pandemic.
How has your marriage been your relationships been affected in a negative way that has caused you to see the incompatibility within yourself are your family? Have we thought about how this time together could have brought us closer are did it drive a wedge between our families in trying to understand the situations that have gone on? Some spouses once worked offshore and now they are home trying to find a new life for themselves and stability for the family. Changes in the home can cause relationships to be tested and unfortunately, sometimes relationships make it, and sometimes they do not so this is the time to bring the family together and come up with a different plan to make it work family is everything.
